How are vaginal rings coded in V312? I would like to know the prevalence of use of vaginal rings as a current contraceptive method. I reviewed the list of categories in the standard recode manual ( https://dhsprogram.com/pubs/pdf/DHSG4/Recode7_DHS_10Sep2018_ DHSG4.pdf) and do not see vaginal rings as a category.
I am using DHS data in the IR files from the following countries: Kenya (DHS 2008-09), Lesotho (DHS 2014), Malawi (DHS 2015-16), Mozambique (DHS 2011), Namibia (DHS 2013), Swaziland (DHS 2006-07), Tanzania (DHS 2015-16), Uganda (DHS 2016), Zambia (DHS 2013-14), and Zimbabwe (DHS 2015).
