Dear User, I have attached the MICS5 (ECD) module. These questions when they are asked are country/survey specific. This means they start with the letter "S" and correspond to the question in the questionnaire. For example: In Cambodia DHS 2014, the questions regarding this module begin with Q566. In the recode file it would be S566.
S567 consists of yes/no responses for 3 questions a) b) c) and coded as follow:
0 No
1 Yes
8 DK
9 Missing
blank Notappl

A country may choose to use all the questions or just some of the questions or add some of their own.
You will need to look at the questionnaires, .MAP file and frequencies for each of the countries in your analysis. You will also have available to you a Word file describing the data file. This document will also have a list of all the country/survey specific variables. All these files will be available to you when you download the data for the country / countries in your analysis.
To take a look at Cambodia DHS 2014 final report, you can access here. https:// dhsprogram.com/publications/publication-FR312-DHS-Final-Repo rts.cfm
The questionnaires are in Appendix E

Hope this helps.
