Hi,
I would like to better understand the sampling procedure for ANC and labor and delivery client observations in the Malawi 2013-2014 SPA.

As I understand it, for each provider selected for the health worker interview questionnaire, clients to be seen by that provider were listed on a client listing form and then systematically selected from the client listing form based on the number of clients present on the day of the survey for a maximum of five clients per provider, and fifteen observations for any one service at a given facility. I would like to know more about "systematically selected". Could someone describe that process to me? For example, if there were ten women waiting for ANC with one provider, how would the five be chosen?

Many thanks in advance!
