Dear Liz,

Thank you for your reply. My question is how the household based data was transferred to individual based data in the form of health insurance coverage in Men and Women? Correct me if I am wrong, but only the household questionnaire contains health insurance information - Which indicates the number of households with at least one member covered.

However, table 2.15 presents "Health insurance among adult women and men". So how was the health insurance variable extracted from the household dataset and attached to an individual level as in Men and Women as presented in Table 2.15?

I have tried to use the sex of household member (hv104) variable in the household data file but the numbers do not tally. Using this variable this results into 12699 observations while the number of men presented in the table is 6217, whereas that for women is 13497.
