Dear Naomi,
I would suggest that you carefully examine the questionnaire in the back of the report as well as looking through the variables in the dataset. The questionnaire and the recode variables are very closely linked. Before embarking on any analysis you should carefully review both of these resources. If you are still have questions you should examine the standard recode manual which gives more description of the variables in the dataset.
