Hello,

I am using the Ethiopian DHS 2011 birth Recode File, and I am having some trouble recoding the variables m71 (time after delivery postnatal check took place). The DHS guide doesn't provide any information on what numbers were used to code the time. For instance when you do "tab m71" in the first two lines it gives the frequency for the times "immediately/in first hour" and hours:1....but then it goes on to give the numbers 102-109, 112....etc, but there is no indication of what these numbers stand for and I was hoping to get some clarification on that.

Thank you,

Kind Regards,

Hanu
