I am having trouble understanding the data of DHS 2011 Bangladesh in the context of HIV knowledge. Could anyone help me understand the creation of one variable for comprehensive HIV knowledge from the variables given? I tried using CATPCA and create object scores which were then used for further linear regression but am getting weird results. Any help is appreciated.
