I have checked the DHS statistics guide and seen the procedure for calculating the various childhood mortality rates. How about calculating mortality differentials according to selected socioeconomic and demographic background characteristics? How is it done in the DHS report? Because I am using the BR file and my differential rates are different from those in the report by between 1-5 deaths per 1000 in most cases.
Thanks in advance.
