Here is a response from one of our Senior Data Processing Specialists, Noureddine Abderrahim, that should answer your question.
M68, M67, and M67 are questions asked in phase V of DHS as questions 455, 456, and 467 respectively. However, in DHS VI, they are no longer asked as standard questions. If a DHS VI survey includes these questions, they would be recoded as country specific questions. For country specific questions, the variables are generally named and coded in the same way as they were on the questionnaire. The variable will have a leading "SH" if the question was asked at the household level, a leading "S" if asked at the women's level, and a leading "SM" if asked at the men's level.
