Choosing men's age for DHS [message #5550]

Hello. Need an answer on this. In the Dominican Republic's DHS, men from ages 15-59 are chosen to participate in the Survey. I understand why Measure DHS chooses women 15-49 years of age; but my question is, why choosing men between 15-59?
