Some potentially useful variable groups for measuring female autonomy relate to household decision-making:
Here's the display of variables related to that topic in IPUMS-DHS (X means the sample above has the variable):
https://www.idhsdata.org/idhs-action/variables/group?id=dec_ dec

You might also be interested in variables relating to whether a woman can refuse sex, included in the following group:
https://www.idhsdata.org/idhs-action/variables/group?id=sex_ att

and in variables related to attitudes toward wife-beating:
https://www.idhsdata.org/idhs-action/variables/group?id=dv_a tt

and related to women's work:
https://www.idhsdata.org/idhs-action/variables/group?id=ses_ work

You can restrict the display to samples/countries that interest you (using the sample selection tool) and learn more about each variable by clicking on the variable name and reading the on-line documentation.
The variable display on the IPUMS-DHS website makes it easier to explore what data are available for the samples that interest you and help you define a research project or get ideas about what to put into a composite or index variable. Have fun exploring!
