To whom it may concern:

my name is Sam Hwang and I am an assistant professor in economics at the University of British Columbia. Hope you are staying well in these difficult days.

As you instructed in the message above, I just got the permission from IIPS to access the caste/tribe data in NFHS 4. Here is their message:

Dear Sam,
We are happy provide you permission to access caste data from NFHS-, if you are able to get the data from the DHS. You may go ahead with acquiring the data.

I wish I can just forward the email to you, but I was not able to find a way to directly message you. I can still do that if you let me know your email address.

Could you please let me know how to proceed to get the said data?

Also, I was wondering when the NFHS 5 will become available to the public?
