Hi, I am interested in the prevalence of patrilocal marriage in Tanzania. Would you say it was rare (e.g., less than 5% of marriages), occasional (e.g., 5-20% of marriages), or prevalent (>20% of marriages)? Patrilocal marriage is where the bride and groom go to live with or near the groom's parents.
