Dear all,
I am writing to seek clarification regarding the calculation of the new ECDI2030 indicator in the DHS-8 surveys.
I have encountered some challenges in reconciling the results, both in terms of point estimates and the number of children, with the results published in the respective survey reports.

The indicator definition is "Percentage of children age 2459 months who are developmentally on track in health, learning, and psychosocial well-being". Although the indicator refers to children, variables were included in the woman's dataset.

I could not match the results (both point estimate and number of children) with those published in the respective reports.
Therefore, I am wondering how these estimates were calculated. Particularly:
a) Which specific database was utilized for calculating the ECDI2030 indicator--was it the woman's dataset or the child's dataset?
b) In the denominator of the indicator calculation, were all children aged 2459 months considered, or were only those children who had information available on the variables related to the ECDI indicator included? In other words, were children with missing information on ECDI-related variables excluded from the denominator?

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance,
Best regards.
