Hi everyone!
I am exploring several "Individual" datasets from some African countries, focusing on Antenatal care.
I am encountering a problem with two variables in particular:
1) m14 - Number of antenatal visits during pregnancy
2) m13 - Timing of 1st antenatal check (months)
In the guide ( https://dhsprogram.com/Data/Guide-to-DHS-Statistics/index.cf m) it is written that:
Number of antenatal visits is grouped into categories of no antenatal care, 1 visit, 2-3 visits, 4+ visits, and missing/"don't know" before calculating percentages, whereas Timing of first antenatal visit is grouped into categories of no antenatal visit, <= 3 months, 4-5 months, 6-7 months, 8+ months, and missing/"don't know" before calculating percentages.
The percentages are the numerators divided by the denominator, multiplied by 100.
Why is it that, whenever I open the do.file, I cannot see these categories? The only option that appears is "98 Don't know" (see screenshot). Do you know what the problem might be?
Thank you in advance for your time and support!
Maria
