We want to assess whether there there has been differential improvements/changes in selected RH outcomes for population sub-groups (e.g., wealth quintiles) between two successive DHS surveys. One way to do this is via survey round interactions in "Difference in Differences" models. SUEST has also been suggested. Can you comment on the relative merits of the alternative approaches? Can you provide references to 1-2 publications that have used SUEST to analyze "time effects" using DHS data?
