Dear DHS Representative,

How can I assess the skill level of a person who supervised the delivery of the most recent birth in the preceding five years before the conduct of Pakistan's DHS 2017-18?

Using BR file 2017-18, in STATA.

Hello,

This indicator can be found in our Code Share Library in the RH_DEL.do file of Chapter 9: https://github.com/DHSProgram/DHS-Indicators-Stata/blob/mast er/Chap09_RH/RH_DEL.do

However, you need to run the RH_age_period.do file for BR files first.

Please read the read me file and also the main file for further instructions. Please also note that "skilled provider" definition is country specific and you would need to check the Final report for the survey you are interested in to know how they define a skilled provider and adjust the code accordingly. Please see the notes in the do files about this.
