Hello,

I am having difficulty understanding how to use the domestic violence weights (d005) when I am using variables from the domestic violence module in NFHS-4. If I want to run a regression with a variable measuring domestic violence (such as d124) as my dependent variable, how do I apply the weights to that regression? Or am I supposed to weight all of the observations for that variable before I use them in my analyses?

Could someone please share their Stata code to help me with this issue?

Thank you!

Following is a response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:

Please check the forum for recommendation about "svyset" and "svy". In addition to weights, svyset is used to specify adjustments for the stratified cluster design of DHS surveys.
