Hello,

I am investigating married women's participation in the labour market in the Philippines comparing 2003 and 2017 years. I want to use the variables in the folder of Individual Record (IR) for my empirical analysis. In 2003 Philippines DHS, I found the variable - the ownership of washing machine as S16F in the folder "IR". Although in 2017 Philippines DHS, there was no variable of ownership of washing machine in the folder "IR", this variable was in the "Household Record (HR)" called SH121G. How can I combine one variable from the "Household Record" folder and other variables from the "Individual Record" folder for the empirical analysis since the sample is different...

The question was collected in the surveys, I found the variables in the file with the .map extension, however, the answers of 2003 and 2017 are recorded about a washing machine are in different files: IR and HR...

Thank you for your answer.
Have a great day
Aurelija
