Hi,
I am working on a project that involves estimating ever paid sex among men using the variable MV791, and I cannot seem to find the data for this variable in the Malawi 2010, Lesotho 2009 or Tanzania 2010 datasets. All three of these were administered as DHS Phase VI but recoded in DHS V, which does not seem to include MV791 in the recode guide. There is, however, information on ever paid sex among respondents in these surveys in the Stat Compiler, so the data must exist somewhere.

If anyone has any advice or a fix for this, please let me know!

The IPUMS-DHS site has a resource which allows users to do a web-based search on a string or variable. If you click on the variable name, you can learn more about the variable, including its codes and frequencies, meaning, universe (who was asked the question), and question wording.
