Dear DHS expert
I am doing my thesis on inequality using the EDHS, now i want to decompose the erryegers concentration index, i already calculated the erryegers concentration index using the conindex command on stata but know i failed to decompose the erryegers concentration index.
please i need help on this issue
thank you in advance

A response from Shireen Assaf, Senior Manager, Analysis and Research:

Dear Abebech,

You can use the following example Stata code for a binary outcome (I named ind here).

conindex ind [pw=wt] , rankvar(v190) bounded limits(0 1) erreygers cluster(v001)

Thank you.

Best,
Shireen Assaf

Dear Shireen Assaf,
Thank you very much for the conindex command. I already calculated the erreygers concentration index by using the conindex code. now my question is on how to decompose the erreygers concentration index. If you have any example code or any suggestion please forward to me, I will adapt to my context

Thank you very much
Abebech
