Hi,
I am working on DHS datasets where the data regarding 'Women Empowerment' are available. Here, about 6-7 indistinct variables (topics) are included in 'Women Empowerment' chapter.
I am getting confused, how to define or which variables should be regarded as 'Women Empowerment' as a whole?
I am considering: 1) Respondent's decision making autonomy, 2) Respondent's attitude towards wife beating
3) Ability towards 'negotiating sexual relationship', 4) Women's engagement in cash economy, 5) Women's control over cash earnings, 6) Owner of assets; these 6 variables individually.
Should I add any other variables for defining 'Women Empowerment'?
Or, I have made any fault in defining the term 'Women Empowerment?'

Thanks in advance.

Dear User, You may want to refer The Guide to DHS Statistics on our website. Look at Chapter 15. Thank you!
