Hello,
For my district fixed effect , I need the variable which explains the living standard of household.
Can someone help me out in finding related to living standard of household?
I have tried a lot but could not locate.

Following is a response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:

I hope you are referring to the wealth index, because that's the indicator of living standard in DHS surveys. In the HR and PR files, the wealth quintile is given by hv270; the continuous scale is hv271. In the IR, KR, and BR files, the wealth quintile is v190 and the continuous scale is v191. In the MR file these are mv190 and mv191.
