I would like to recommend the inclusion of a district and province (or state) set of variables capturing the place of birth. DHS provides great information but a key limitation is the impossibility to establish how shocks at birth could matter. This cannot be done unless we have a better indicator for place of birth.

Please clarify this request: is the request for place of birth (meaning the administrative unit) of the respondent herself? or of the respondent's children?
