Hi DHS Team,

I am analysing DHS data on ITN use. Is it possible to weight a command like "Tab X Y, col" so that I can have weighted frequencies. I am failing as the result from this command is different from the result of "tab y,[iweight=wgt] col" but I need the result for the two way table.

Following is a response from Senior DHS Stata Specialist, Tom Pullum:

You should be able to use iweight for two-way tables, but the weight specification goes BEFORE the comma. Try this: "tab x y [iweight=wgt], col".

Thanks Tom and Bridgette,

Should I weigh the data on each command or if i have used suvyset command to weigh the whole data set then its ok i dont need to continously weigh the commands.
