DHS 2012-13 Pakistan GPS coordinates / finer geographical location [message #16315]

Hi !

For DHS Pakistan 2012-13, the GPS data says 'Not distributed'. Does this mean that DHA collected GPS coordinates but did not give it to public? If so, does anyone here has access to those GPS coordinates? Or someone who knows what can be done to get access to them?

Secondly, is there a way to identify the location of households at a more finer geographical level such as a tehsil or even better union council for 2012-13 round of DHS Pakistan? We can get the location at the level of districts but I would want a more smaller geographical region.

Hi Osama,

Due to confidentiality reasons, the 2012 Pakistan data can not, and will not, be released. For similar reasons, we can not distribute finer geographic details than the district-level for any of our surveys.
