Hello

I downloaded all the data sets for Peru 2000. However, the Final Report and the Survey characteristics state that Anthropometry and Anemia testing took place for women 15-49 years old and children. The data set contains missing values for these variables (ha1-ha13 corresponding to women) and hc1-hc56 (corresponding to children). I have only found observations for these variables on the Births recode, however these are from Maternal Anthropometry (only collected for mothers of children born in the three/five years preceding the survey) v437-v458.

I was wondering if there is a way to get the actual observations for ha1-ha13 and hc1-hc56 since it seems they were actually collected.

Thanks in advance for your help

Sandra

A response from Dr. Shea Rutstein:
Quote:

According to the Peru 2000 questionnaires, anthropometry was only done for interviewed women and their children as part of the individual woman's interview. All interviewed women were to have been measured. So it should also be in the woman's section.
Thank you!
