Hello,
I need to merge DHS data with crime statistics at the municipality level. The variables smunic or shmunic is the municipality identifier. Even though, the values are not labeled and I cannot know which number corresponds to which municipality. I looked at the report and can't find a list of labels for the variable. Do you have any suggestion on where to find this information?
Thanks!

Alejandra

Following is a response from DHS Technical Specialist, Shireen Assaf:

The municipality labels are removed purposefully for confidentiality reasons. I believe the only way to merge your type of data with the DHS would be at the regional level. If your data has GPS information, then you can also merge at the cluster level if the DHS survey you are interested in, collected GPS information.
