Hi,

I would want to know if DHS asks any questions on subjective sleep time. Do people report the number of hours they sleep on average?

Dear User, To my knowledge, I have never seen questions on sleep. I am quite familiar with the questionnaires. Thank you!

Ghana 2008 included a question about number of hours of sleep or napping in the women's survey, but it is a country-specific variable not usually available. Here are the codes and (unweighted) frequencies for this variable, from the IPUMS-DHS website (available at idhsdata.org):
