Hi there,

As I am working on female employment and occupation outcomes in Uganda, I was wondering where I can find the exact coding and labels of variable v716, v717 which contain information on the type of respondent's occupation. Without knowing the exact coding, merging the 3 rounds (2000,2006,2011) doesn't make any sense (since the coding seems to be different for each round). Any hint where to find this information is very much appreciated!

Many thanks in advance,
Elisa

Dear User,
The CSPro recode dictionaries normally have the value labels filled in for these variables. The dictionary name for the Uganda DHS 2016 surveys is UGIR7H.DCF. See the partial screenshot V716 for the Uganda DHS 2016 survey.
