		Hello,

I am trying to create food groups using the 24 dietary recall for children aged 0-23 months or 6-23 months on various food lists listed in the Rwanda DHS 2005 dataset. The corresponding variables are M37a, m37b etc.

However, when I do a simple tabulation of these variables within this age range, I find few observations with responses

For example, to observe consumption of cheese/yogurt,

ta m37x if inrange(hw1,0,23), mi

no 11
1 9
2 5
4 1
7+ 1
. 1,624

I am trying to understand what these numbers mean. Are the non-responses corresponding to children aged 0-24 months who are not last born/living with their mothers or was it actually a "NO" or a "dont know". I am finding it hard to believe that there are only 78 responses to this question.

If I do similar tabulations for other potentially more relevant food groups, like "food from local grain" (m37q), I still find a 53% non-response rate.

It would be of great help if I could get some assistance in this issue.

Thanks!
