Hello there,

Thank you for making the Nepal DHS 2016 datasets accessible to us.

I could see few differences in frequency in terms of stunting classified according to residence, sex, mother's education and etc in report and Stat compiler.

My result are similar with that of Stat compiler but not with report.

Another thing, I would like to know is as in NDHS 2011 and earlier surveys, for analyzing stunting, four things were considered. They are child who slept in the household previous night of the interview (HV103 = 1), completeness on date of birth (HC33=1) and age of children less than 5 years (HC1 >= 0 & HC1 <= 59) and HC70 <=9990. But in 2016, I think, HC33=1 is not needed to be selected, because when I selected this, the output says "No cases were input to this procedure. Either there are none in the working data file or all of them have been filtered out.".

Then I only deselected HC33=1 and ran the frequency for total stunted children, it is 2421 which is same as in STAT compiler but less by 7 than mentioned in report, which is 2428. Please help me if I need to take into account any variable or I went wrong in selecting variable.

Looking forward for your reply soon

Thank you in advance
Sanjhama
