The wealth index is normalized with mean 0 and standard deviation 1. But the wealth index in Mali and Zimbabwe have a very large standard deviation (more than 8). Is there something wrong with this data?

I am using Zimbabwe Standard DHS in 2015 and Mali Standard DHS, 2012-13.
