Hi there,

I am using the Afghanistan 2010 AMS data. I am not clear on what the variable is I should be using as my PSU in order to apply the svy set command. Could you please advise?

Following is a response from Senior DHS Stata Specialist, Tom Pullum:


I don't know for sure that the variable has the same name in all the files, but in the AMS household file ("HOUSEHOLD.DTA") it is "qhclust". This corresponds with hv021 in surveys that have a standard recode file.
