Hello,
I am attempting to do an analysis including rates of male circumcision in several DHS countries. However, in the 2010-2011 Continuous DHS men's recode data for Senegal, this variable (mv483) is labeled as "NA" and there is no data available.
I assume this means the question was intentionally not asked in Senegal. Is there any way to find out why this was? I've looked at the DHS report for this survey and there is no mention of it, but I'd like to find the reasoning if possible.
Thanks,
Emma

Following is a response from the Survey Manager, Jose Miguel Guzman:
Male circumcision has not been included in Senegal surveys. The reason being that the Implementing Agency(ANSD) argues that it's not relevant to them (among other reasons), because HIV prevalence is very low.
