According to our records there was no wealth index created for Niger in 1992. Note that the DHS wealth index was developed in the early 2000s and retrospectively computed for most DHS surveys from the 1990s plus all new surveys moving forward. The earlier surveys did not always include sufficient questions on assets and services to derive an index, or there were other reasons why an index was not derived. Niger in 1992 is one of those countries. For the sake of completeness, my records indicate that there is also no wealth index for the following surveys: Dominican Republic 1991, Egypt 1992, Indonesia 1991 and 1994, Jordan 1990, Madagascar 1992, Philippines 1993, Senegal 1992-93, Tanzania 1991-92, Yemen 1991-92, and Zambia 1992.
