I am doing my thesis on the impact of a nutritional centre for children under five in rural Mozambique. I have analysed all the data.
I have all the variables chosen to create the wealth index but i do not know which are the orders to create the index in spss.

I have a paper pending to publish because of this index and i am willing to know how to calculate them.

Thank you very much in advance if anyone could give me a hand.

Have you looked at the DHS Wealth Index Construction page? Scroll down to the middle of the page, and you will see the files for Mozambique. Shea Rutstein also has a document linked on the page called "Steps to constructing the new DHS Wealth Index." You should also read the DHS Wealth Index Comparative Report 6 and the DHS Wealth Index: Approaches for Rural and Urban Areas working paper #60. All are available/searchable on the DHS website.

I have finally been able to calculate the index and I am very happy.
I wanted to ask you the cite that I could give behind the calculation.
