Respected Sir/ Madam,

I, vivek Verma, am a research scholar in Dept. of Statistics, Gauhati Univ., Assam, India. For my research I am using the DHS data of India-2003-05. To calculate the Full Vaccination Coverage of children 12-23 months age using NFHS-III of INDIA, I want to use the SAS, but the problem which occurred in my case is that the obtained number of children are 9168 among them 3978 are missing and reported numbers are 10,419 (Please see the "Table 9.3 Vaccinations by source of information" of page-228).
I have also tried your suggestion discussed in
http://userforum.dhsprogram.com/index.php?t=msg&th=2045& amp;start=0&S=bffb49261b85fbb195e85b664bdf4630
*// Number of children.
*// Only for living children age 12-23 months .
COMPUTE months = V008 - B3.
SELECT IF (B5 = 1 & Months >= 12 & Months <= 23).
Even though this is the same.

Please guide me in obtaining the reported numbers if you have SAS codes for the same please share. This will of great help for me.

Thanks and Regards,

Dear User,
Your post on vaccination coverage has been moved from the Fertility topic to the Child Health topic. We do not have the code in SAS but the Guide to DHS Statistics will offer some guidance on doing many of our standard calculations for our final reports. It is located on our website and can be accessed using this link: http:// www.dhsprogram.com/publications/publication-dhsg1-dhs-questi onnaires-and-manuals.cfm. I will refer your post to one of our experts to see if they can offer any other advice or guidance.
Thank you!
