Greetings All,

I am working with DHS survey data for the Dominican Republic . I am in need of mortality data specifically maternal mortality data. There is is a data set that seems to meet my analysis needs however when I attempt to analyze the data in SPSS it only give me options of ROC Curve and simulation. I am a student and still somewhat new to using SPSS so I'm not sure if this is user error or if I don't have the appropriate permissions to analyze this set. Any assistance you all can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Cherissa

Sorry but your message isn't making a lot of sense. What dataset are you trying to use? Can you send screenshots of the messages you are getting?

For the maternal mortality ratio, there is only one national estimate that can be produced from the survey and this is published in the report, so I suggest you just take the number from the report. It is not possible to disaggregate the data by any background characteristics or subnational areas as the sample size is much too small to provide an estimate that has any meaning.
