I want to set my data as survey data (KDHS 2008) in stata . I am confused which variable to use for strata (v022 or v023). The two are not the same.
please help

Following is a response from Senior DHS Stata Specialist, Tom Pullum:

The strata for this survey are given by v022. As with most DHS surveys, the strata are the urban and rural sectors of all regions of the country.
