Hello

Where can I find details of coding used for vcal_3?

Data set for PDHS 2012 - 13 has collected information on vcal_3 but there is no such column in Women's Questionnaire presented in the final report. In Individual recode documentation (see attachment) there are only three codes described for vcal_3, as:

VCAL(3)
T-Abortion
U-Miscarriage
V-Still births

Can you provide information on other codes that are present in PKIR61FL.DTA

Following is a response from Senior DHS Specialist, Guillermo Rojas:

Column 3 in the calendar is a country specific column for Pakistan 2012. The column is a copy of column 1 from the raw data file (as it was collected in the questionnaire, please see the questionnaire) and it has the following codes:

A-Abortion
C-Miscarriage
S-Still births

Please note that when using column 1, users need to refer to the codes as used in the questionnaire.
