I cannot find the variables for the wealth index for Nigeria 2003. Where would I find those? Thanks.

The recode variables related to the wealth index are:
HV270
HV271
AWFACTW
V190
V191

You can find descriptions for these variables in the Standard Recode Manual on our website: http:// www.dhsprogram.com/pubs/pdf/DHSG4/Recode6_DHS_22March2013_DH SG4.pdf
Once in the PDF file you can search for these vairiables by name and read the description and information about how they are used.

Thank you for your response. I have finally found the HV270 and HV271 variables much further down in the list of variables as variables 1199 and 1200. I had expected to see them after HV234 which is variable 67.
