In the child recode file I see "respondent's age", but I assume that not all "respondents" are necessarily the mothers. I also see educational variables V106 and V107 in child recode file which I assume refers to the "respondent" and again can't assume this is the mother. so which variable i used that tell the relationship between childs and mothers . ? how to calculate mothers education insted of respondent education

A response from our data processing expert, Mr. Noureddine Abderrahim:

In the birth's file and kid's file all women refer to the mothers of the children. By selecting only data of children 12-24, you will get the mothers of these children and the education of these women is the education of the mothers of the children selected.
