Hi everyone,

I'd like to generate the comparative wealth index for Peru and Bolivia DHS surveys. Are the alpha and beta coefficients available online? Does anyone know where? Otherwise, how could I get them?

Hello everyone

I have the same question as Soraya. I am using DHS VI data from Guinea (2012), Liberia (2013) and Sierra Leone (2013) and I would like to construct the comparative wealth index to compare these three countries.

However, I am unsure how to apply the anchoring points to my selected baseline survey of Guinea and where to get the UBN data. Could you provide a link or a Stata code example on how to proceed for the CWI? Or are there already published estimates for these three surveys?

Dear User,
Attached are the coefficients for Guinea. The other surveys mentioned were not included in the original study http:// dhsprogram.com/publications/publication-MR9-Methodological-R eports.cfm so unfortunately we do not have coefficients for those.
