To calculate the antenatal care coverage (ANCC) - at least four visits, I multiply 100 by the quotient of (the numbers of women who received antenatal care for their last birth according to grouped number of visits (four visits)) divided by (the number of women with a birth in the last five years). Is that correct?

So if a woman had 2 births during the last five years, the last birth will only count.

Dear User,
There is a whole section in the Guide to DHS Statistics on Antenatal Care. http://www.measuredhs.com/pubs/pdf/DHSG1/Guide_to_DHS_Statis tics_29Oct2012_DHSG1.pdf

The publication is bookmarked.

Thank you!
