Dear all,

For my analysis, most of the variables I need are in the individuals dataset (PR), but some the the key exposure variables I am interested in are only in the children's file (KR).

I'm struggling to figure out how to merge these into the PR file, it seems that I cannot find the unique identifying variable for the merge. I tried everything as I undestood it from the DHS data notes (merging via the cluster and household variables after renaming them to the same variable name) but it doesn't seem to work. I am working with STATA version 11.

Any help would much appreciated!

Thanks!

Richard
