This sounds ok, but you shouldn't have to merge the mother's variables from the IR file as most of those variables are already merged into the KR file.

Hi Trevor,

Many thanks for the codes! I was able to extract the data (haz06, waz06 etc) and it corresponds with the ones I had obtained from the DHS.

Can you say how mother's height is calculated? In addition,
is it possible to have the codes to convert the cm-1d to feet?

Mother's height is measured - see the DHS biomarker questionnaire. You can use google to find out how to convert from centimeters to feet.
