I am really hopeless in this. I am using Zimbabwe DHS (2010-11) and want to compute with SPSS Community media exposure. This is the proportion of women who had media exposure in the community (PSU), assessed through responses on whether respondents read newspapers, listened to radio and watched television, every day, at least once a week, or less than once a week. I want to aggregate responses from these questions and then divided into three quantiles. Can I know the procedure?
My last question is' I can't find perception risk of HIV infection variable in the ZDHS. If I can get syntax for these that will be great for me.

Following is a response from Senior Data Processing Specialist, Ladys Ortiz:
The sample size used in Zimbabwe DHS 2010 does not allow for analysis at the PSU level. For more information please see page 23 of the final report: 1.4 SURVEY IMPLEMENTATION (Page 4 . Introduction)
Quote:The sample for the 2010-11 ZDHS was designed to provide population and health indicator estimates at the national and provincial levels. The sample design allows for specific indicators, such as contraceptive use, to be calculated for each of Zimbabwe's 10 provinces.
The variable names for media exposure are: V157, V158 and V159.
There are several variables related to HIV perception like: V754BP, V754CP, V754JP, V754WP, V756 and more.
