Hello!
I have data from Kenya DHS 2008-09.
This is my problem:
I have the dataset for only the women. I also have the dataset for the HIV results. I want to connect each women to the HIV test results. I know that blood was not taken from all of the women but that is not a problem. So how do I connect a HIV test result to the right woman? Is there an easy way to merge the dataset so the test results appear on the right row (because each row is one participant as I have understood it)?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your answer. I have found the steps to take Though I am struggling with how to perform all of them. I am working with the software R and I can't figure out how to sort the variables, which seems to be important in most of the answers to this question. Any suggestions on how to sort by identifying variable in R?

Thanks
Caroline
