Dear DHS users. I am reviewing the Dominican Republic 2013 DHS. I have read the Guide to DHS statistics but I did not find the answer I'm looking for. The thing is regarding the household recode database (DRHR61FL) in Stata format. There are a set of questions beginning with the letters SG. Household questions were applied in 11464 HH, but these SG questions only apply to 5758 (5735 weighted). I would like to know if there is a way to identify who were the members answering these questions. In fact, a definition of the subset of questions applied to particular members would be fantastic.
Do anybody has knowledge on this topic?

Following is a response from Senior DHS Specialist, Ladys Ortiz:

The Health Expenditure is a country specific module in the Dominican Republic DHS 2013, and it was applied in a subsample of the households selected (one out of two - half of the households ). The questions were asked to all members eligible (see questionnaires at the end of the final report).

The Health Expenditure questionnaire includes topics like:
- Economic characteristics of all household members 10 + years of age
- Health
- Health service
- Health expenditure
- Health insurance

You can use the variable SHSELEC to identify the households selected for this module.
